Deep Falls

Below the Kuang Xi waterfall near Luang Prabang: The main waterfall plunges about 60 metres over karst rocks from shallow pools. In the further course, sinter terraces and turquoise pools have formed due to the very calcareous water.

Since 2003, the park has been home to the Tat Kuang Xi Bear Rescue Centre of the Free the Bears Fund, a sanctuary for the endangered Collared Bears. | Laos
