Evening atmosphere at Lake Segeberg: Lake Segeberg is a natural lake that emerged from a sinkhole created by salt leaching. The region around Bad Segeberg is part of the salt structures of Schleswig-Holstein, where underground salt deposits were leached out by water. This resulted in subsidence and collapse, which led to the formation of the lake.
The subsoil consists mainly of limestone, gypsum and anhydrite, which also contributed to the formation of the nearby Segeberger Kalkberg cave. The lake is relatively shallow, with a maximum depth of around 9.8 metres, and is mainly fed by groundwater. Its geological formation makes it an interesting natural phenomenon in northern Germany.
Heimatkunde – exquisit bebildert
Formen Farben perfekt
sogar die Enten (?) posieren goldschnittig auf der Vogelinsel (?)
und hinten grünt der Frühling
toll – gefällt mir – sehr — MEHR ! :-)
A beautiful place, and from what I can see, one that is warmly embraced by wildlife.
