Waterfields

June 2013: Entire stretches of land under water, villages flooded, houses destroyed: The floods have caused enormous damage, especially to the Elbe and Danube rivers. The small community of Neu Darchau on the river Elbe was also part of it, as here near the village of Katemin. A friend lived here and we arrived to secure his house. In the end the water left without causing any damage worth mentioning.
