Silent Waters
Boat jetty at the Ubein Bridge in Amarapura. The bridge connects two places that can be reached on foot across the Taungthaman Lake. The 1.2-kilometre bridge was built around 1850 and is considered the oldest and longest teak bridge in the world. | Myanmar
I thought it was only a pier at first sighting. How interesting that it is a well-traveled pedestrian bridge that has been around for almost two hundred years! Great framing of this view.
Given the amount of people on top of the bridge, it is a very used bridge.
Great framing and composition.
