View of the Lawka Nanda Pagoda at the Irrawaddy in Bagan. The Buddhist site was built during the reign of King Anawrahta. In the pagoda there is a replica of an alleged Buddha tooth relic.

The pagoda lies high above the river and is therefore a landmark for the ships on the river. It belongs to the older Stupas Bagans and reminds with its high bell of the traditional forms of the Pyu | Myanmar
