Fishing Life
South of Bagan on the Irrawaddy: fishing boats at a river village. The river is a source of food and labour - and collects the wastewater from local residents. But it is also a lifeline for wild animals, such as the endangered Irrawaddy dolphin, many species of fish and plants that grow on the banks and in the surrounding forests. | Myanmar
Everything ends up in the river… and without the river, no one lives.
Beautiful landscape and moment.
