Blue water

A watercourse in cobalt colour crosses the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech. The garden is famous above all for its cobalt blue, which goes back to the French painter Jacques Majorelle, who created this little paradise in 1923.

It is thanks to the fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent that the garden exists in all its splendour. At the beginning of the sixties, after Majorelles death, the garden lay fallow and was overgrown. Laurent bought the park and invested a lot of money to make it what it is today. | Marrocco
