Transit Passenger

In the morning, Tsar Kaloyan seems quiet, but traffic starts early on the main road, which is also used by many lorries. At the crossroads, I find a small supermarket that also serves as a simple bakery and shop for everyday groceries. The first residents stop there to buy bread, cigarettes or coffee before heading off to work. As the sun rises over the surrounding fields, the town begins its daily routine – characterised by through traffic and the simple supplies provided by the mini-market. | Bulgaria
