At the edge of the Wahiba Desert is the Wadi Bani Khalid. If you walk further into the wadi, you will find bizarre rock formations and small and cool pools for swimming.
Further ahead the turquoise wadi is full of small fish and the Omanis have built a small excursion park all around.
The large pool is relatively warm, but very deep. Around the pool picnic areas have been installed and even toilets are available | Oman
An inviting and relaxing place.
In an arid place, having such a place, is really fantastic.
