Salty Land

The impressive volcanic landscape in Lanzarote lives from its many colours and lights. The island has a sparse flora due to the low rainfall. Therefore, water-storing, drought-resistant and salt-tolerant plants predominate here. In total, there are approximately 570 species to be found on the island, among them native and introduced, but also 13 endemic species that only exist in Lanzarote. | Canary Islands
