In the breath of the mountains

I reached Munzur National Park in the late afternoon. The sun was low in the sky, bathing the surrounding mountains in warm evening light. The play of colours was particularly impressive: the mountains in the background shimmered reddish, while shadows slowly settled over the slopes.

The riverbank presented an atmospheric scene. A herd of sheep and goats moved leisurely between the bushes, some animals drank from the clear water, others lay quietly in the grass. The gentle splashing of the river and the occasional bleating combined to create a peaceful background noise.

The combination of landscape, light and proximity to the animals made this evening a special experience that impressively reflected the atmosphere of Munzur National Park. | Turkey
