Heather and birch and heather
The Barker Heide nature reserve is located in the district of Segeberg in the area of the municipalities of Bark, Hartenholm and Todesfelde. The former heathland is now largely afforested. Barker Heide is one of the few focal points of heath protection in Schleswig-Holstein and represents one of the most threatened habitats in this federal state.
May the threat be overcome.
