In the early morning, in the middle of the island of Fuerteventura, near the village of Triquivijate, one discovers this landscape with its old volcanic cones.

Fuerteventura is the oldest island of the Canary Islands. It was formed about 20.6 million years ago and is of volcanic origin. The majority of the island's mass was formed about 5 million years ago and has since been severely eroded by wind and weather. The last volcanic activities on Fuerteventura ended 4000 to 5000 years ago | Canaries
