In the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden near Chiang Mai: The bamboo -Dendrocalamus Giganteus- is the tallest of all bamboos with large gigantic culms between 25 and 35 m high and 15 to 30 cm in diameter. Culms are thick-walled (2-2.5 cm), dull green to dark blue-green and covered with a white waxy bark when young. | Thailand
