Grass Giants
In the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden near Chiang Mai: The bamboo -Dendrocalamus Giganteus- is the tallest of all bamboos with large gigantic culms between 25 and 35 m high and 15 to 30 cm in diameter. … And some say that bamboo will be the trees of the future. That with the accentuation of global deforestation, bamboo for being fast-growing, will be a bet to try to reverse this trend.
