The municipalities of Sievershütten and Stuvenborn have been supplied with wind energy since the beginning of the year. The two wind turbines were installed in just a few weeks and, with a total rated output of approx. 10 megawatts, can now cover the electricity requirements of around 8,000 three-person households with their annual electricity production. More than enough for the villages, which currently have a population of around 2000. A third wind turbine is being planned.
Renewable energies are increasingly gaining prominence.
Beautiful composition, with the turbine framed in the middle of the trees/branches.
