Divine abode

Mount Olympus - the highest mountain range in Greece - towers high up into the clouds. With its majestic peak, Mytikas (2,918 metres), it was once the legendary home of Zeus, Hera and the entire divine Olympus team. So it's no wonder that this impressive massif plays a leading role in Greek mythology!

But even without any divine apparitions, Mount Olympus is a true natural wonder: dense forests, rare plants, wild animals and rugged cliffs make it a paradise for hikers and adventurers. Mount Olympus has been a nature reserve since 1938 - as Greece's first national park - and continues to enchant visitors with its mystical beauty to this day.

Whether you believe in the ancient gods or not, a visit to Mount Olympus always feels a little magical. | Greece
