In the end, only hope remains

On a farm in Char Gul Tepa in Kunduz province, women are likely to live like this, or similarly, within their own four walls.

Just a few factual words:

Education: Girls above the 6th grade are largely excluded, as is the case throughout Kunduz. In some cases, religious schools are even experiencing growth.

Security: Resistance actions against Taliban positions continue in the surrounding area.

Everyday life: Many people, especially women, experience oppression, poor economic prospects and severe restrictions on their freedom.
