Loamy villages, fruity valleys
Between the stony, red mountains that surround the Draa Valley, where the RN9 road winds through palm oases and mud houses, lies the village of Aremd – a quiet village that seems as if time has stood still here. The wind carries the scent of earth and date palms, and in the evening the sun colors the landscape in warm red. If you stop here, you won't find any major sights – only peace, space, an infinite number of date palms and the feeling of being a little closer to the real south of Morocco.
