In the Footsteps of Time

Aït-Ben-Haddou: one of the very few adobe settlements in southern Morocco that is still reasonably well preserved. The Kasbah became famous as a film set for Lawrence of Arabia or Gladiator.

A bustling tourist industry in the form of souvenir shops, hotels and restaurants has now established in the area around the settlement. | Morocco

  1. When I see this village, I always think, if by chance, with the issue of climate change, it happens to rain several days in a row, probably these houses end up being completely broken up…

    Excellent viewpoint of the village.
