Whoever stands in the 130 metre long tunnel tube under the North Sea-Baltic Sea Canal in Rendsburg is about 21.5 metres below sea level. Above a container freighter, ferries and luxury yachts pass the canal. Only 6.50 metres lie between the tunnel ceiling and the water. Before you can go down and back up by escalator or elevator.
