Wood Conversion

Directions Oberbaumbrücke bridge in Berlin. The Oberbaumbrücke 1724 started as wood construction, now the landmark present as stone construction.

Its name derives from the river crossing of the old practice of collecting tolls on rivers by blocking them with tree trunks. On the other hand, the Oberbaum bordered the Berlin wall in the east.

  1. A bridge full of charm with a very special architectural style.
The color contrast, between the ocher tone of the bridge and the metallic buildings in the background, is sublime.
