Let there be light ...

… A view of the foyer of the SIDE Design Hotel in Hamburg: at the centre of the building is an impressive atrium up to 30 metres high – a spatial highlight that combines light, space and drama. The atmosphere within the atrium is characterised by a light installation by New York lighting designer Robert Wilson: two floor-to-ceiling light fields that change in a calm alternation, transforming the atrium into a living work of art.
