Once across the Tejo
The bridge of 25 April: The 2278-metre-long suspension bridge crosses the River Tejo. It is the third longest suspension bridge in the world with combined road and railway traffic. After its completion in 1966, the structure connects the Lisbon district of Alcântara with the city of Almada in a north-south direction. The A2/IP7 motorway runs across the bridge in six lanes. Among the locals it is simply called Ponte. | Portugal
Beautiful warm light.
Portugal does not deserve this bridge. It requires a lot of money for its maintenance.
