In order to advance the development of seagrass meadows globally, the mechanic Ernst Alfred Petersen constructed this single-seater, which made it possible for the first time to cultivate and harvest the seabed in a single operation. The first trials took place in the town bay of the Großer Plöner See with great public interest.
