The Will and the Bin
On Şile beach, I saw these and other empty bins, while the dunes and beach around them were full of rubbish. There was rubbish everywhere, even though there was an easy way to dispose of it properly. It seems as if hardly anyone cares about keeping the environment clean or taking responsibility. This unpleasant behaviour not only pollutes nature, but also shows how little respect some people have for the community. As long as this does not change, the rubbish problem will continue to exist. Not only in Turkey.

Kommunale Bauhöfe und Kurverwaltungen schätzt man erst, wenn sie nicht aktiv sind .
dann kann man dem “Respekt” gern auch mal “nachhelfen” ;-)
In fact, it’s people’s mindset that needs to change. Even if there are no trash bins nearby, that’s no excuse to leave rubbish behind.
Until mentalities change, nothing else really matters.
