Water Stone

Village on the edge of a Wadi in the Jebel Akhdar mountains: Dattlpalmen, vegetables and goats are the main source of income of the residents. They get the required water via so-called Faladschs, water channels, which allows a year-round supply of water to the dry desert State. This system is unique in the Arab States and since 2006 to the UNESCO world cultural heritage. ¦ Oman
